The USA opposed the election of Mr. Allende to president of Chile in 1970 -supporter of the poor |

Pres. Allende was overthrown in 1973 and Chile experienced brutal repression for 17 years |

Ann opposed "family unity" portion of US Immigration reform -those who already have relatives in USA |

Ann opposes "family unity" because it does acknowledge same sex partners as family |
