One thing that is helpful in dealing with the problem of our suffering is to recognize that right now, we are in the middle of the story. Except for our single world and one-third of the angels (who are now our demons), the rest of the universe is enjoying the blissful harmony of a Good God's management and leadership. Because of bad choices on the part of our first parents, our world is in great pain and torment, but as for the rest of the created universe, it is doing just fine, thank you.
Fortunately for the human race, God has stepped into our self-created mess for the purpose of renewing, restoring, salvaging and saving. Thankfully, we have His most blessed promise that everything WILL turn out all right in the end. Revelation 21:1-5 Since we have not yet arrived at that blessed event, for now we have to take God's word for it.
To encourage us that God's promises are trustworthy, we have many Bible stories of people who put their trust and allegiance in our Creator God, and because they did so, the end of their lives turned out to be very good.
The middle of Job's life was pretty awful, but God stepped in and made it even better than before. Job 42:10-15
The middle of Joseph's life was spent in prison, but the Holy Spirit went to work until he became the Vice President of Egypt, enjoying a life full of fame, glory, honor and riches. Genesis 41:41-52
The middle of Moses' life became pretty bad when he committed murder, but after God did His restoring work, the end of his life under God's leadership was quite spectacular! In fact, Moses was so highly honored by God that he was resurrected immediately from his grave Deuteronomy 34:5,6 & Jude 1:9 and he was later given the exalted privilege of appearing before Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. Matthew 17:1-3
So don't give up on our Good God! Even though the middle of your individual life or even the collective life of our planet may be filled with turmoil, sorrow, pain and despair, the faithful promises of Scripture is that the ending for those of us who follow Jesus is going to be very good indeed!
