If satan had full reign, you would enjoy no good thing. Satan's whole agenda for this earth is nothing less than complete and total destruction, for satan's Master Plan for the human race is this:
"The thief [satan] comes only to steal and kill and destroy..." John 10:10
But Jesus has a different purpose for us all, which is:
"'...I have come that they might have life, and have it to the full.'" John 10:10
Satan is not even like us: He is a spirit being, while we are flesh. Because of this great difference, he has no love for a single human being! He is perfectly willing to harm, kill and destroy us all! Satan does sometimes reward his servants, but only temporarily, and only as long as they work out his own evil plans, such as Hitler.
As for Jesus, he has a keen interest in the prosperity and well-being of the human race, for not only did he personally create us, he also took on a human body and became just like us! Jesus IS flesh of our flesh and bone of our bones! John 1:1-14 Satan has a terrible plan for your life, full of misery and pain, but Jesus has a wonderful plan for your life, full of every good thing: "From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another." John 1:16
It is very sobering to realize that satan is hell-bent on our destruction, but it is also very encouraging to realize that Jesus is heaven-bent on blessing us! The very fact that you enjoy any good thing at all proves that Jesus is stronger than satan! One thing that is helpful to remember is that although one-third of the angelic host joined in satan's rebellion against God, the other two-thirds of the angelic host have remained loyal to God. Revelation 12:3-17 Although the one-third have become the demons that are constantly harassing us humans, Jesus has the two-thirds of the angels that are fighting on our behalf!
I don't know about you, but it makes good sense to me to join up with Jesus, who is just like me and who has the allegiance of two-thirds of the angels, than to side with satan, who is not like me, and who only wants to destroy me.
