Blow a rams horn in Zion and sound the alarm |
The Day of the Lord is one of thick darkness and gloominess |
A dreadful army is coming to burn everything before them |
A mighty army is coming with many war horses |
People's faces will be filled with fear and pain when the army comes |
The army will come marching in ranks and climbing over walls |
The army will rush against the city and climb into the windows |
The earth will tremble and the heavens will shake |
The sun and moon and stars will go dark |
The dreaded army that is coming is Jehovah's army |
The Day of Jehovah will be great and terrible |
There is still time to turn to God with all your heart |
Turn to God with weeping, fasting and mourning |
Turn to God who is gracious and full of mercy, kindness, goodness |
Turn to God who is slow to anger and doesn't want to hurt people |
Blow a trumpet in Zion and call a fast and a solemn assembly |
Let everyone come together in a great gathering to seek God |
Let the priests and ministers weep between the porch and the altar |
Pray to God for help and he will send abundant food |
